    I think the thinking was to play a team comprising those we should have under contract next year. If not that, I’ve no idea what the thought process.

    And not to dissapoint, he was given minutes to prove just that.
    I feel sorry for him because he does do effort....there just isn't a footballer in there...not at this level anyway.

    The re connection with the academy didn't last too long and with the pressure that Conor is already under I can't see him trusting them to get us off to a good start next season.
