As the curtain comes slowly down on another disappointing season, it's nice to remember that sometimes it goes the other way too.
Happy St Clint's day. Here is an 80s power ballad to commemorate the occasion. https://suno.com/song/aead50d7-2695-4eef-ae17-150e09e26a85
Brilliant (and a bit scary)! Edit: I particularly liked how the "singer" improvised on 1:36 to add a bit of innuendo into the mix.
What a fantastic day that was . I Was 23 at the time and the night out in barnsley after the game was incredible
I’d been going about 5/6 year, my dad always says that folk from that point on really have only seen good times watching BFC
I always think of big Eric on this day. And I’m so grateful that we got him and Danny together at the hall of fame evening some years ago, because it allowed the fan in me to revel in being in the company of not only two of my heroes, but two of the greatest blokes I had the pleasure to know. I’m out and about right now but there’s some footage of Eric post-Bradford where he gives an interview in the west stand that I always love watching. The f****** pride for this club as he speaks is absolutely priceless.
Bang on, Whitey. The current spineless lot wouldn’t have been allowed to get away with what they have if big Winny was in charge.
We got promoted to the Premier League on the 27th birthday of Melania Trump and she's celebrating the day at the funeral of the Pope
I think it was the commentary as much as anything that cemented Clint's place in history, albeit a bit unfairly as you say.
