Eubank fails to make the weight and is fined £375,000. If he puts on more than 10lbs over night he'll be fined again. But once you've been fined once, is it even worth worrying about the re-hydration clause if it mean's he wins the fight? Guessing £375,000 isn't even a 10th of the purse?
He's been trying to get a £1m bet on with Eddie Hearn, so I'm guessing money isn't a concern for him.
Will he gets fined again if he goes over the real hydration clause? He looks drained to make close to 160.
I dunno, it’s been relatively entertaining so far. Think Eubank Jr is gonna come good in the home straight though. Connor needs to out box him and win on points, but i think they just dislike each other too much to do that.
For the most part it's been a quiet crowd. It might as well have taken place in Saudi Arabia, as you wouldn't know it was a 65K sell out.
Enjoyed it & felt Eubank won 116–112 but it was only competitive because he’s past it and / or drained. Hope Eubank wins & retires.
Four rounds gap? Unanimous decision? They’ve been paid off there surely? It’s always very subjective but I can’t believe three professional judges all scored that eight four to Eubank. Benn hasn’t been ‘robbed’ exactly - it could have gone either way in my eyes very easily, Eubank possibly edged it too so I’ve no complaints at him winning - but four rounds? That doesn’t sit well
Staggering margin of victory. I had Eubank by a round but with three 10-10s. Seems mental that all three of those must've been scored to Eubank by the judges. Credit to Eubank Jr for showing humility in victory in his post-fight interview though. Classy touch.
I don’t think either are much cop to be honest. But it was a decent tear up. I think it slipped away from Benn in the last six minutes, but he did land the better shots in the fight for me and Eubank’s face tells a story. Close fight, a draw would have been my shout.
