The Promotions and Relegations

Hey there's so much to be thinking about here, in each division.
Can Plymouth stay up after all, and will Bradford go up as Champions, and what about Grimsby and Notts County ehh.
Leeds and Burnsley look like they are going up, ahead of the SheffUre blunt scum.
And it looks like Carlisle are down to Non league again.

 

It shows what a step up it would be if we ever make it back to the Championship, when a team with the potential resources of Derby could well be straight back down, and the team, Plymouth, that ran away with the league last year are also looking likely.

Oxford have done surprisingly well but are still not out of danger.

Edit - Plymouth wasn't last year - where does time go??

 

What a calamitous day today for Wycombe. Started the day 2nd and no-one would have guessed them shipping 4 at home. How to turn a party sour. Looks like they may have just thrown promotion away at the last hurdle.

 

Hey Dsl, yeah it's so annoying that we can't be part of that now.
But remember that the promoted teams do struggle always, in the league above.

 

Aye and the worst thing about it is that Wrexham are the ones to benefit….

 

Fancy Charlton in the play offs. They are looking strong at just the right time.

 

Donny look like they will go up aswell haven't played them for a while hopefully Bradford and Grimsby too.

 

Be nice if Port Vale lost out to Walsall as well - much nicer away trip.

 

I agree had some good times there. Beating them 3-1 under hecky, beating them in the play off same season, the last minute winner under stendel.

 

Loads of ups and downs possible! Cardiff and Derby coming down would be amusing.... although harder for us!
Watching Burnley now though and how flat is it? I know they've been up and down before and I guess it becomes old hat but there's barely any atmosphere.

 

Doesn't even look like a sell out a game that could take them back to the prem.

 

They are probably thinking they prefer it in the Championship, where they win more than they lose.

 

Championship, 8 teams in the hunt for playoff spot, great to see, an 9 teams in the relegation fight, so tight, good luck to all involved.

League 1, 4 teams battling for promotion, an 9 teams in a playoff fight, an still 6 in a relegation battle, good luck to all involved.

League 2, 6 teams in the hunt for automatic, an 12 in contention for playoffs, an carlisle need to win last 2 an Tranmere to loose last two, good luck to all involved.

Hey yeah I think Charlton will win the Play offs.
And I know a lot of Leeds fans, and even though they might be a little bit cocky lol.. they deserve their promotion with Burnley.

 

Four of the bottom six in the championship won today. The other two drew with each other.

The teams placed third to seventh all lost.

I see the league is as crazy as ever!

 

Burnley have only lost twice all season, and only conceded 15 goals. Can't say they don't deserve to go up with Leeds.

 

Wrexham v Charlton Saturday could be interesting

 

Wrexham at home to Charlton next up, huge game.

Wrexham away at Lincoln on last day, while Charlton at home to Burton.

 

Charlton could actually pinch it if they win at Wrexham, beat Burton and then Wrexham only draw or lose at Lincoln.
Here's hoping......

 

I think best think for us would for Wrexham to up. They will no doubt strengthen where as all the other teams in the playoffs will lose players there better players to the championship and fall back to having average seasons
