TNT have took Eurosport off what it's always been on and brought it in house, which means Snooker suffers from less eyes being able to watch it.
Yeah well done Mark Allen, for winning his 1st round match. He sounds really fed up though does Mark, and I don't think he will go that far this year.
Ronnie bottled it a bit this afternoon. Carter will think he's won lottery tonight from 5-2 down. I'm going with Carter 6-10.
Ronnie played as I thought he would given he's been missing tournaments. He was never going to come to the Crucible and play rubbish!
I didn't think he played rubbish. He lost his advantage though and now the pressure is on him tomorrow. Like I said I think he's nailed on to lose based upon mental demons and having a sense of loss even though he's ahead on the scoreboard.
Played and won his first competitive session since January, Mr D? I'd have thought he'd be quietly pleased to take a slender lead into tomorrow. Tell you what, though - he'll require a fair bit more should he get through.
Only going off my own mentality but I'd be pretty gutted and need a lift after being 5-2 up. Thankfully he's a professional sportsman with history of mental health issues and a sports psychologist. I just look at my bank account, lick my wounds and decide whether Perth is worth a dabble.
Yeah well done to Ding, he's won his 1st round match. I like him, compared to how he used to be, he used to look like a right miserable git lol. And remember how well David Gilbert and Jak Jones did last year, and Jak got to the Final of course. But they are both out now. I have no interest whatsoever by the way, in John Higgins. Shaun Murphy and Judd Trump and Ronnie O'S, all lead at half time in their matches. The World Championships is moving along very nicely, and it's going to get more exciting from now on.
Everyone always speaks really highly of Ding @Acido Tyke . A real boost to Sheffield having his snooker academy there, it's done well. I'd love him to be the first Chinese world champion, but I think it unlikely now.
Doherty has just stated that all ten Chinese players who are in finals actually live in Sheffield ! I wonder where they practice ?
Jumping Jehosaphat !!! That’s not cheap .. we ought to get together and open a cheaper one. Does anyone know owt about snooker coaching though ?
