I know that's not asked to me and I don't know the answer to those questions but don't women prisoners force other female prisoners into sexual activity on a fairly regular basis? ( I know we can't call it rape officially because of discrimatory laws that favour women but we all know it IS rape). I will never understand why so many people are perfectly ok turning a blind eye to, or accepting, that, but if it's a transgender person committing the offence it's disgusting.

The new jersey one was due to consensual sexual relationships I believe and the trans rapist case is disgusting but so is the case of the trans woman (assigned male at birth) who was forced into a male prison and repeatedly raped and so are the cases of men raped by men in prison and women raped by women but as is often the case only one gets attention

Fight against discriminatory laws that remove their rights.

Their rights haven't been removed. It is illegal to discriminate against them as trans ( be that men or wonen). Nothing has changed there.

Oh please that’s not true and you know it.

Treating someone as the wrong gender is absolutely discrimination and just plain nasty and is now not only legal but required.

Didn’t she also say that she’d teach her son how to not be falsely accused?

    Totally normal take.

Yes. He was taught about consent so "hopefully" he wouldn't be wrongly accused of rape but if he was she would be happy as it would help "redress the balance"

Yet expecting women to get undressed in front of men isn't? Trans is protected just like homosexuality and that is right. What isn't right and never has been right is expecting a woman to refer to the person who raped her as she. That goes beyond nasty.

Actually i think you’ll find that the current ruling is what makes it so women have to get undressed in front of men.

Yes, I have very clearly made sure he understands what consent is. And that anyone can say no at any point in a sexual act. Any decent parent would. Haven't you?

You really need to re read it. It is biological sex that matters, as has been the case all along.

Some men with penises and beards now legally have to get changed in women’s changing rooms. True or false?

False if you're talking about biological functioning penis, rather than manufactured from other body parts.

Well I’m glad you’ve fully let the mask slip at least.

I've made no bones about wanting things to be based on biological sex when it comes to women's sports, refuges, rape crisis centres etc. There is no mask to let slip

Have you also told him that you will be happy if he is FALSELY accused as it will help redress the balance? Or have you kept that bit quiet from him?

I never said I'd be happy. And of course he'd have my support if he was falsely accused But given the low conviction rate something needs to change and that might include there are more false conviction rates initially, although I doubt it.
What have you said to your children?

Oh yes you did. I asked you outright would you be happy and you replied yes. You was picked up in it at the time and doubled down on it

Well no one would be happy obviously. Seems an odd way for you to have framed it.

It wasn't an odd way to frame it at all.

You stated that some men will unfortunately get caught up in false allegations but it's a price that has to be paid to redress the balance of a low conviction rate. The reply to you was that the solution to a low rape conviction rate isn't to convict men without a trial and you were asked directly would you be happy if your son was caught up in it (ie falsely accused) as a price that may have to be paid? In fact you were asked by two people.
Your response to that was a very clear "yes if it meant the conviction rate went up".

If it meant the conviction rate for rape went up you stated very clearly and publicly that you would be happy for your son to be falsely accused.

Several people challenged you on the fact that you support false allegations and that it's a price to pay for men as long as it increases the conviction rate for rape. it wasn't just me and I. Not making it up

This is where text has its limitations in discussions. The facts are that conviction rates are low, even where there is a mass of evidence. I don't think it necessarily follows that if the conviction rate goes up that's due to false allegations.
