They lost 5-4 at Swindon and Jack scored a very late own goal. BBC said: “However, Smith equalised again with a far-post header before Shepherd's botched clearance gifted Swindon a stunning win.” Oops!
Didn’t see the game but saw Bradford had a man off early and thought it would be tough for them. I saw the OG and it wasn’t a great clearance. Thought the Swindon players were a bit **** in goading Shepherd as he was on the floor after the OG. Just go and celebrate as a team in the corner or something. I hope Bradford go up.
Work with a Bradford season ticket holder and he is desperate for him to stay there. He can’t believe he came from non league.
First of all, Id like to ask why did Swindon change to their away kit (all white), so Bradford could wear their messy striped home kit!. And as for the reaction at the end to the players own goal, I think the Swindon players were appalling to rub it in like they did. Although, there's maybe things that we don't know about, as things do get said between players, during the games.
Bit embarrassing, struggling to beat 10 men, yet goading someone's bad luck. There was one player remaining professional at that point.
Supposedly he'd been dishing it out all game, hence the reaction. Doesn't make it right, just explains why they did what they did
I read on Instagram that the Swindon players reacted how they did to Shepherd, because he'd given some of their players the same treatment when Bradford went 4-3 up with about 10 to go. Though I don't know how true that is.
