The offer itself is great but the timing of the announcement makes it appear that ticket sales are down and they're desperate. Which they probably are.

For future reference bfc, in future launch the competitions when you launch the tickets. It removes the 'desperation' appearance and costs nothing extra, just a little forward thinking.

 

Thanks for some positivity. I knew as soon as I saw this and the Superstore post on the official site, they'd get ripped apart on here. I'm not happy, but I don't understand punishing oneself by looking for negativity everywhere.

The superstore post I think people just enjoy a bit of gallows humor. This one I don't see anything wrong with it, just in future could avoid the negativity with forethought

Nothing wrong with this offer per se. Just a bonus for a few lucky fans (or unlucky fans if the team is still shi.te).
As someone above has posted anything the club offer will be open to ridicule or criticism now but imagine if the team had been great all season and were already champions......
(I know that's hard to imagine....)

It's just that as we're playing embarrassingly bad football at the minute, and our results are getting worse by the week, it sticks out like a sore *****.

 

It’s simples, renew if you want, don’t if you don’t want to. I was always renewing and now have done with the added bonus of a chance to win this offer. If the club say or promote something they’re desperate, they don’t say or post anything and the communication is crap. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. I struggle to remember where our recruitment in pre-season/ first transfer window, isn’t criticised. No I’m not happy with how this season has panned out and do believe the club rightly deserves much of the criticism for that. I want them to get a new H/C in now and start preparations for next season, but it’s highly likely they won’t. I won’t throw the teddy out because of that, and I certainly don’t want thousands of fans to keep away either, but if they do or don’t, I’ll still be there
