If Villa get through this tie it’s a shame they have to play Arsenal. I’d like a new English side to win the Champions League. (I know Villa won the European Cup)
If it finishes 2-1 i give them a chance with the second leg at home, but they’re massively under the cosh at the moment.
The standard is on a completely different level. Isn’t it nice to see players dribble and take players on.
Villa’s biggest stroke of luck is that they’ve got Southampton at the weekend. They can rotate all 10 outfield players so they’re well rested for the 2nd leg & probably still come away with 3 points
Villa have done very well to take the sting out of this game, I’m sure they’ll be chuffed if they get out of Paris at 1-2.
