Saka still plays like he’s 15 (in a good way). No fear, loads of skill and always smiling. He’s a joy to watch. I feel like in the modern game a lot of flair players get it knocked out of them but Saka is an exception
Yeah I’d agree he’s looked jaded but that said I’ve never watched him and thought he’s playing badly as in needs taking off etc.
Needs a very strong ref, you could see a couple of bits last night at 3-0 Bellingham try to say to ref he got stamped on and then Mmm bop waving his arms about after falling in the box, symptomatic of footballers when they are desperate, I can't say Madrid are any worse, but they always seem to get decisions, especially when up against it.
Agree with this mate, good interview from Gary Neville after the Manchester Derby on Sunday, speaks about how players are frightened to move put of position, over coaching, analysis, sports science and how the freedom and excitement is disappearing from the game.
Yeah they did lose their entire defence, including back ups and keeper over the past couple of months. Some returned, some haven't. You'd expect they'd still put plenty past teams with their attacking talent though.
Just watched the highlights. Real's keeper was outstanding. To score against him Arsenal had to hit three of the most accurate and wonderful strikes of the ball I've seen in a long, long time. I'm going to have to revise my assessment of football up from being s.hit to being mostly s.hit. Because that was anything but, it was beautiful.
Don’t you think it’s just his frustration with his own team & Guardiola’s City coming through? For him to claim this is a problem across the board is nonsense for me. You look at Liverpool, Newcastle, Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton, Forest, Fulham, Palace, Brentford etc. these are all sides that play with plenty of freedom. Gary’s just absolutely fed up because his teams crap & over coached & they came up against another under performing over coached side. He’ll soon be back to watching entertaining football when Man Utd get a hiding at Newcastle on Sunday.
And hey, in case I haven't mentioned it already lol. I'm an England fan as well, and that's why I think of them as 'one of ours'.
