Dont think you can say no fight, but mistakes aplenty for sure mate. Some shocking decision making. Mccarthy again getting away with 2 huge errors thanks to his teammates.

I'm not defending him. I've only said you can't pin today on him due to shocking refereeing mate.

    It's not really about today.
But 63 goals conceded in 41 games is a damning fact.
Only 4 teams in L1 have conceded more.

Numerous CB's but none with any pace.
Numerous wing backs but none who can play full back so we are just stuck with 352 and all our obvious flaws

Isn’t xG expected goals? Completely ignoring the penalty the xG is still a damn site less than the 5 other goals they’ve scored.

It’s an absolutely nothing metric that is somehow utilised in todays over sanitised and poorly analysed footballing world. At the end of the day a team could have an xG of a million and still lose 1-0. Lies damn lies and statistics eh.

I don’t know just feel like any team that concedes 6 has a lack of fight, especially towards the end looked like we’d given up to me. I know we were down a man but it was only de gevigney he normally costs us more than he contributes.

With ten absolutely knackered men playing against a team where everything went for them...or didn't you notice?...of course you didn't....it's probably never occurred to you that players get tired the longer a game lasts....just Google it, it's a well known fact in most sports.

Its not necessarily about amount of chances though bud, if a penalty is only worth .75, then you'd have to have a pretty clear cut goal to get anywhere near that.
I'm not disagreeing with your point about how its utilised though. It can have its merits but we seem to be relying far far too much on it and we should stop.

I get your point but I was so impressed until around the 70th minute mark. We were fighting, movement in attack, showing for ball etc. Such a shame how we capitulated

I noticed we lost 6-2. We collapsed in the second half. If we were that tired as you say why didn’t we make subs till late on?

Definitely a soft penalty to concede but yet again, MDG was caught on the wrong side of his man having been far too slow to react the run.
A bit of positional awareness and he doesn't even get into that situation

On the plus side, I missed most of the first half due to forgetting your clocks had gone forward.

Saw the half time score and was surprised.

Saw the full time score and wasn't

    That's it.

First time I've not even watched

    Doesn't look good does it

Hopefully mate, Pines, O'Keefe, MDG, Earl, Cotter, McCarthy and Farrugia can all go for me.

Build the defence around Roberts, Shepherd and Lopata.

There's a massive overreaction to this result today considering we had a man sent off after 3 minutes.

That's coming from a man who already wants the director of football gone and doesn't think Hourihane should be manager next season by the way, but to lose like this when we are already fragile to the runaway leaders just doesn't elicit response this vocal from me. Maybe it's because I've already given up but this shouldn't be surprising to people.

We need a massive clear out of staff and players this season and then we need to realise it could take us years to get back to contention at the top of the league.

Yet again our defence is to blame for what turned out to be a disgraceful result. Whole team fought for an hour despite the referee gifting them a red card and penalty, then our defenders just give up. They can all go in the summer for me. Every one of them. None of them fit to wear a once proud shirt.

Making commentators struggle to pronounce his name

Sounding like David Ginola when he speaks

    Makes a decent croque monsieur**

    (** I don’t actually know this)
