12 weeks suspended sentence for someone with an history of violence. As big as anyone's. And imprisoned b4 for assault.
Reasoning
On Tuesday, magistrate Paul Goldspring described the ex-Man City and QPR player's story as "vague" and convicted him of assault after a two-day trial.

 

When she went to the police station at the time of the incident. She only offered up no comment to the questions. He must scare the living daylights out of her for me. As to fear leaving him. As of January she was still with him and i suspect she still is.

 

Ridiculous sentence given his history. Is there any likelihood the cps can appeal the decision as unduly lenient?

 

The most annoying thing (obviously apart from him being a wife beating racist) about the c.xunt is he's labelled 'ex Man City player Barton' ffs he played a handful of games

The chief magistrate disregarded both his and her evidence and convicted him based on the 999 call, evidence from the police who attended and photos they took.

He, being the law abiding upstanding citizen he is, is of course appalled at the decision and will be appealing through the high court.
