Nice to see the subs making an impact today..

Gave us a lot more impetus in what had been a lacklustre uninspiring game against a team that had every man back behind the ball for most of the game.. Has to be said Cambridge were as poor an outfit as you’ll see, but still knew how to frustrate us and launch counter-attacks. What was it 2 shots 1 goal and the other working our keeper. DKD unlucky hitting the bar and that ‘handball’ not given. 3 minutes added time was a complete and utter joke with substitutions and bookings alone. and they were 2 or 3 injuries. Their keeper absolutely taking the p#ss with time-wasting. Overall though another disappointing game and result against poor opposition.

 

Jalo should have been MOTM for me. He showed what we’ve been missing.
Couldn’t care less if Phillips and Connell never play for us again.
