But what happens if the owners stop putting money in to cover things like tax bills HMRC wouldn't think twice about calling in the receivers for a debt ask Bury FC supporters
Well we both changed our minds over Clarke didn't we. While not wanting him sacked, it got to where I could hardly be bothered sticking up for him anymore. I'm not sure what we're meant to learn after Connor's first game today, and there are still 9 more of them to come. But tbh, I'm finding it more depressing now after each game!.
What happens if the machines rise and take over? What happens if they pass a law banning cheese? What happens if Sam Cosgrove wins the golden boot? What happens if Whales learn to walk and leave the sea? We are in the exact same position as many many clubs. You can fill a book with what ifs. Currently our only debt is the Covid debt. There is zero reason to think at this point that this will change other than idiots (again not you) spreading lies.
Again, what if the owners stop putting the money in. They're not rich enough to keep funding at the levels they are forever. I am fully aware of the rules of insolvency thanks.
There are no debts at the moment, no. But there soon will be if they decide to stop throwing in equity and dont meet a month's payroll, for example.
Good so we agree at the moment there is no reason to pass around rumours that cause worry and division. The owners at Chelsea or Liverpool or Birmingham or Bradford could stop funding their teams tomorrow. They would all be then potentially insolvent. Literally anything could happen. Repeating this ***** doesn’t make it any more accurate than me saying Sam Cosgrove could get a transfer to Real Madrid next season and win the golden boot. It could happen, sure.
From your profile picture, looks like you’re into wuss rock music, so I’m not interested in your opinion.
I don't think people realise how close we are to going down next year, another window like the last 2 lose a few of the "better" guys and replace with randoms from France and America again should just about do it, we only have to lose 5 or 6 games more than this year and we'll be right down there
Good, so we agree we could be seriously in the shît and admin a real possibility. Glad we got there. No-one is passing around rumours, just discussing what is a possibility. Our owners are nowhere near wealthy enough to continue to fund us like they are for long. You can bury your head in the sand and concentrate on the here and now if you like though. Fact is there's going to need to be more serious cost cutting, which will result in an even lower quality squad, relegation then becomes a live risk, and our financial issues are further exacerbated. It's not a huge stretch of the imagination.
So we agree that Sam Cosgrove is going to get signed by Real Madrid and win the golden boot. Glad we agree. It’s not a huge stretch of the imagination. But yeah idiots repeating this stuff which is equally likely as Sam doing that that is really helpful. But that’s all it is idiots repeating lies that they have no knowledge of because of things that could happen. We could also win every single match next season and be in Europe in 3 years before beating Wrexham in the Champions League final. The chairman’s cats goldfish told a friend of a friends dog. ITK A handy tip when you state an opinion and then say fact that doesn’t magically turn your opinion into a fact. Here all day for life hacks.
I know you're prone to saying some daft stuff, but you honestly believe that it's equally likely that Barnsley - a club haemorrhaging hundreds of thousands of pounds a month - going into administration in the near future is of the same likelihood as Sam Cosgrove - an idiot - playing for Real Madrid? You honestly think that?
