...imagine how utterly awful things will be if we slide into L2. It will be the dark days of McSeveney all over again. No hope. No entertainment. No skill. Utter boredom and completely uninspiring. Pray we dont go down either this year or next and things start to turn round. If bad decisions continue to be made we are in real trouble.
There is nothing at all positive about slipping into League 2 - regardless if you want to collect your Panini stickers to complete the 92. Absolute nothing. The fact that this is even being debated just proves how much we’re in the *****.
Reckon the happy clappers who’re happy to have a club wouldn’t mind in all honesty. ‘At least we’re not Bury’… you know, them ones.
Imagine if we did a Scunny or Chesterfield and went out of the league. Are we on that slippery slope?
I've watched a bit of level 7 and level 9 football. It's very different. Still fun if you have any attachment I guess.
If fans keep dropping I can only see us going that way look at posh in real danger of dropping Bradford been there years
That’s the concern for me. Only need half a dozen points to be safe this year which we should comfortably manage even as bad as we are right now. If ST numbers drop dramatically for next season, which they look certain to do, the standard of players we bring in is likely to sink even lower. Especially so if the same clueless lot are handling recruitment. We really seem at a crossroads as a club and at the moment I’d saying we’re looking down more than up.
I'd say the same I get fans frustration and the silence from the owners isn't helping. Nareev is the one putting most of the money in for me get Mladen out, do a meeting with supporters about be open and honest, get a manager in who fans would actually want not 4th choice like Clarke. Maybe that's too much to ask I don't know. Sad times.
