    As a passer he is but doesn't have the same mobility and intensity to his game Connell has imo.

    I would love to see a 4231 with Nwakali and Connell as the double pivot.

    Fully get what you’re saying but we’re competing with at least 6 other clubs for 2 places. Hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see us doing it. We concede goals for fun and miss too many sitters at the other end.

    precisely! what do people see that makes them think we are suddenly going to improve? We've had 28 games and look likely to have pretty much the same squad for the last 18

    To be fair to Connell, he's had to do some proper spade work this season. Phillips, DKD, Russell, Nwakali etc aren't all exactly workhorses off the ball and full of running.

    Only a few weeks ago Bolton,Stockport even Huddersfield were finding it hard to get a win.Plenty of twists and turns yet.
