Biden in one move putting the world in a more dangerous position than it's been in since the 1940s. Just because he doesn't have long left to live doesn't mean the rest of us don't want to be around for ages.
Using large scale nuclear weapons against any country would be futile. In.my early teens in the mid 1990s I use to worry about it but as I have got older the more unlikely I believe they will ever be used. They are a deterant and nothing more Imagine the liklihood of them ever being deployed. The world bank would collapse and the only thing of any worth would be food items.
Nice to see the Democrats leaving office leaving the world teetering on the edge of nuclear war for the second time in a row.
Daresay the yanks warned Putin over hitting civilians yet again, the latest attack on power plants probably final straw. Weaponizing winter is cowardly beyond belief, eventually bullies have to be called out.
There’s a reason why Finland has the largest artillery capability of any Western European country , and Russia hasn’t invaded it . The only person making the world a dangerous place in Europe is Putin , inviting 100,000 North Korean troops into Ukraine is going to end badly for everyone
Not a Trump fan and never will be but I can see him dealing with the situation between Ukraine and Russia.
Breaching a peace treaty to invade Ukraine put the world in a more dangerous place than it has been since the 1980s. Although the 1960s were far more dangerous - and on at least one occasion a computer glitch nearly led to nuclear war. You could also argue that moving the American embassy to Jerusalem didn't help.
Didn’t Trump say he’d end the ‘war’ in a day, and would have it sorted even whilst he was still president elect?
Genuine question, but wasn't it the US and the West really at fault (clearly its russia but about provoking)? The agreement that NATO wouldn't expand further east- and thats all they've done since the agreement was made. I get they're a sovereign nation but honestly the argument about would the US allow Mexico or Canada to join the USSR is a sound one in my opinion. Its unfair but it is life. Biden and Johnson scuttled plans for peace talks well early into the war. I also don't think we can blame Trump for something that happened 6 years after he moved the embassy either. But he claims he's the magic man so let's see shall we. The fact Ukraine hold some inroads in Russia though is interesting, might give trump some actual negotiating power..?
Yeah something daft. Said he could do it as president elect and then in another interview said he could do it 24 hours after he's in office. Magic man, duh...
Oh boo fcin hoo, Putin bombs the fck out of civilians AND pulls in North Korean soldiers & then threatens the world when Ukraine has the audacity to fight back. Good on Biden & fck Putin.
So can I. Putin will be given his territory in the name of peace. Netanyahu will bring peace to the Middle East through his ‘crimes against humanity’. (Not my words but the judgement of The Human Rights Watch.) Trump will deal with it all and make the world a much safer place. For dictators, autocrats and fascists.
Decent documentary on Netflix called Turning Point about USA, Russia, the cold war and current Ukraine issues.
All out war between NATO and Russia will not happen. War between 2 nuclear armed powers will lead to "mutually assured destruction" which is conveniently abbreviated to MAD. I've lost count of the number of "acts of war" and "retaliation" remarks made. More of the same, business as usual. The russian nuclear protocol is the same as the US - to be used only if there is a threat to the existence of the country as a whole. IE, retaliatory. Don't click on daily mail articles claiming X Y and Z about the war. It's in their direct financial interest in keeping you clicking and refreshing the page - it all generated ad revenue.
