Twice Clarke has replaced Pines with an attacker. He's certainly different. I lnow that was accompanied with a shuffle backwards for Earl to rebalance but still.
On the positive side, the second half was better than the last 90 minutes of football that preceded it. Hopefully we start with something close to that team next time out. Humphrys has done more in 2 games than Cosgrove has done in an entire season.
I wouldn't be as concerned if there was some semblance of structure and identity but there really isn't. I've no idea what we're trying to do on the pitch. It just looks a mess. We have professional footballers who can't even make simple ******* passes.
Humph looks good, reminds me of Norwood. Cosgrove a total waste of a shirt. Benson decent when he came on, Jalo too, but needs to learn when to lay it off. Roberts played well. Cotter decent as usual. We are all over the place as a team, but we came back twice. Trying to put a brave / balanced face on it.
My Pre season optimism is now well and truly dead, don’t look like we’re building towards anything and tbh we look even worse than last year
