Yeah he really can't keep making excuses like this can he. I know the deflection has quite literally cost us late on of course. But we really should have been more positive, and tried to win the game, especially in our best spell in the first half hour. And just sitting back like that throughout the second half, and maybe hoping that the opposition weren't going to be good enough. Well that is just unacceptable, no excuses Im afraid!.
If you retreat into your shell to the extent that it becomes an attack versus defence drill, it is reasonable to assume that eventually there will be some sort of fortunate event in favour of the attack. As an isolated incident the goal was lucky, but in any sport constant pressure will eventually tell.
Seems like 2 points lost ? It was Darryl due to your inept tactics. Mentions loose a few times, well sort it out during the unofficial break in first half. Which of the 4 coaches are the players listening to ?
Why did he have to change 3 players so early in the second half, it all went down hill from there. Clarke lost us the 3 points. Plus I still don't know what Benson brings to the table
Yesterday nothing, regarding Benson. He might be a skilful player but we didn’t see it in the 92nd minute when he fluffed a clearance on the edge of our box. Or was he fouled?
2 deflections. One led to a goal. The second defection is in the interview. Uses the first deflection to deflect from another tactically inept home performance. IMHO
