Aye it’s a bit **** that. Did you enjoy the game though? I did. We need some more players, but we already knew that… I know it goes against the grain but I’ve always seen this one as a rebuilding season with an opportunity to build a new team, possibly with a punt at the play offs. I don’t think we will trouble the top two given the disparity in budgets and reduction in quality as championship quality players have departed since relegation.
I am of a similar opinion. Wrong result for us but I was more into the game than at anytime last season.
I felt that had we equalised we would’ve gone on to win because they were rocking on their heels most of the second half. I was encouraged with our forward driving in the second half but this was badly let down with our woeful finishing
No mate, i didnt. We got ourselves up at 2am in Koh Samui to watch it and went back to bed when it finished at 4am here. I can't imagine any circumstances where we could be in the third tier, losing at home to Mansfield Town with possibly the worst set of strikers in living memory and i'd find it enjoyable. At a stretch maybe entertaining, but not enjoyable. I like to see us winning. Perhaps that's why i liked Val so much when others didnt seem to.
