@SuperTyke As predicted, that discontent in Skegness meant a reform win. Tories to blame for reasons stated and not listening to businesses and residents
That was being presented as a done deal. Corbyn is an excellent MP, so I can see why people voted for him .
No surprise really. The only disappointment of the night is that Farage will be further feathering his nest as an MP
Best thread of the night, this was like a Barnsley team announcement. ******* ******* dropping Pines/Cole/Connelly - we then win 4-0
An absolutely huge win, no getting away from that. However the Labour increase broadly speaking has been marginal. This is an election the Tories have lost, and if they decided to somehow join forces with Reform / Farage, things could be worse than ever next time round. Starmer needs to make this count.
The beauty of the system!! Labour will get less votes than last time where they got crushed yet this time they will get landslide. FPTP is best for these kinds of swings!!!
Beautiful thing to wake up to. I did panic reading the exit poll before bed last night but seeing the results this morning is a massive relief. Why did we doubt the good men and women of this town Eyy? I did say last night I’d be shocked if we sent either of those two to represent us, and I’m relieved to see that we haven’t. Just shows, there always has been and always will be a majority of good people in this town.
