    He wanted to stay asked for a new contract with no silly demands but was told by the board that wouldn’t be happening and he’d be on his way.

    Words mean very little when football and money are concerned. I’m under no pressure to sell my car, but if someone came in and offered me more than I paid for it, I’d be throwing a bucket of water over it, giving it a hoover and looking for its replacement. :)

    That's why I said in my original post unless a silly offer comes in we are under no pressure to sell.

    Literally same situation here as Kitching. If they offer a huge fee then obviously he goes and we find a replacement. If not he stays
