    Blackpool have signed specialist left back Zac Ashworth from the Baggies, which should end their interest in Hayden Coulson and should free up our chance of signing him. Did well on loan at Blackpool last season. Here's hoping for an announcement soon.

    Correction! Just seen that Coulson has also signed permanently for Blackpool. I wonder what they want with two specialist left backs? I suppose that Coulson could play in midfield maybe. Pity.

    Derby released their new kit yesterday. Pic of a shirt on a coat hanger was generally well received with most of the comments suggesting it should not be modelled by a coat hanger but by one of their new signings. "But we ain't got any".

    So it's far from just us.

    What about all the players who have a current contract and have to wait for the club to sign someone else before released(actually quite common in football)?

    Apart from Rovrum, who released about 15 players so needed to be busy, I don’t think anyone’s much different to us really.

    It’s not like we have to bring anyone in and teach them to play football. All players will be working on fitness now, in readiness for the season, regardless of where they find themselves.

    If Cosgrove starts as he finished last season it will be like having a new signing, and the same goes for Pines return to fitness.
