Would be heartbreaking for him to leave Cheltenham

No disrespect to the lad as I can't say I know a lot about him, but I would expect us to be shopping in a slightly higher bracket that a 32 year old that has played mainly at L2 level for most of his career.

We have also just signed Conor back who will add experience into the midfield. If we are to sign another CM (which I think we do) then it needs to be a proven top level option at this level e.g. Byers (which Pett is not) or a young up and comer who we can rotate with Conor and have Conor coach and help develop such as Lewis Bate.

I'd say midfield is set now. Connell, Phillips, Conor, Russell, Benson, Wolfe, then Yonganathan and Chapman as fringe options. Unless we get a significant bid for Connell or Phillips, or are able to move Benson on, I don't think we're adding to that group.

    No thanks.

Could be a decent signing for someone lower end of our league with his experience or top end of League 2. A quick look on forums and Twitter and he’s been linked with Cambridge and MK Dons. Not the market we’re in with that age fortunately.

Most likely we'll sign a replacement for Cadden , a Keeper and if possible a Striker. can't see a Midfielder coming in
