It’s not hooliganism, it’s common assault in a public place. It’s against the law and not acceptable behaviour. Knuckle draggers be bu****** they know what they are doing and they should be charged and banned from the club. If you are on this board and you have participated, I’m talking to you.
Watched the young lad who does the match videos take on it on youtube. Wednesday fan in home end, years ago the same person was involved apparently a villa fan in home end but it wasn't.
I sit there...Actual fighting is very rare, mostly its stewards throwing kids out for not sitting in the right seats and having a tussle over it...although tbf there is the red flare issue.
And the racist chanting and the fighting every few months and the pitch invasions (which generally occur in that corner) and the constant standing. Other than that they're angels
I'm used to reading some ***** on this site but equating all safe standing with some of the behaviour that went on last night is just idiotic. You are Paul Conway and I claim my prize.
The title never mentions all safe standing. It's clearly referring solely to the safe standing the club plan to install in the Ponty end
Also got video evidence of him aiming kicks at the same person b4ing dragged out if he cares to deny it.
Genuinely haven't got a clue what you're trying to say. My point, which most people seems to understand, was that if the club bow down to the hooligans in the Ponty end and install safe standing because they are unable to get them to follow the ground regulations then they are stupid especially considering the disorder by the same section of the ground that is forcing the change. Far from condemning bad behaviour, we are actively rewarding it by giving them what they want. That isn't talking about all safe standing at all. It's talking about not rewarding the pricks in the Ponty end and not making it even harder to control the hooligans
My point would be that safe standing and the behaviour of 'the pricks in the Ponty End" are not related and installing Safe Standing does not constitute 'rewarding them'. It simply means that finally the Club are looking to move into the 21 century with a progressive action - safe standing. That is good news....if it ever happens.
But it shouldn't happen while we have a pretty serious problem in that section of the ground. They're the same group who constantly stands so it really is rewarding them or at the very least it's bowing down to them. Imo safe standing should only be installed if the club ever gets in control of the problem. And they have failed t do so for many years.
