BARRY COTTER AHEAD OF BLACKPOOL TRIP Interviews Barry Cotter spoke to the media as we prepare to take on Blackpool in league action on Saturday. Continue reading on the official site...
... Barry continued, "the lads can't wait, one or two in The Foxhall before the match, then straight into the Soul Suite for a boogie and a skin full after".
"Our Tarca will love it being this close to open water. He's hoping to sample some of the abundant fish and cockles available."
This is why I hardly ever read these things anymore. "it's a case of sticking to what we've done with the gaffer on the training pitch, trusting the process and executing it". Absolute media trained nonsense. It's demonstrably true that either they shouldn't be doing this, or they haven't been doing it. "Just need to bring what we've done all season". All season? You've picked 12 points up from the last 11 games, and been absolutely woeful in the process. Fine margins. Small details. etc etc. It doesn't matter who they trot out, they say exactly the same things. If they could show this level of consistency and discipline on the pitch, we'd have been promoted by now. Why is no one ever willing to come out and just say "we've been absolute gash, and if we don't turn it round we can forget promotion". Grinds my gears.
