Just watched Russel’s tracking for the 5th goal - says it all…

Maybe watch the 1st and 2nd and then we can pick on some players bloke hasn't played for weeks and been on the pitch no time but he's the 1st one we call out.

 

Would like to agree but shouldn’t be trying even more? We are going to finish in the play offs and he let us down then too.

Bet Cole will be happy someone to take the stick away from him. I think look at the 1st goal one long ball and it was a 2 on 1 if that happens in junior football the coach is spitting feathers. The 2nd maul and connell doing statue impressions.

 

All of the goals were pathetic

 

To be fair the Maginot Line's effort for the fifth was much more pathetic even than Russell's. That followed from him not even bothering to try to get back for the first, not even at Russell speed, being walked around like a cardboard cut-out for the second and failing on two occasions to get anywhere near close to his man for the third.

 

I do think he was poor when he came, as was most however. But that free kick he did, where they nearly scored a 6th, was unbelievable, and then he just waved his arms about. Fuminggggg 'al tell thi.

 

There were far many more mistakes before his name was called.

 

Near the end he broke into their penalty with a clear shot at goal with only the keeper to beat and pased it onto the wing, completely brain dead

 

Nowt like berating Russel when the players on the pitch prior to him coming on had already lost the game.

 

Never quite got the love in with MDG at all. Does some tidy stuff for sure and is easy on the eye but very little back bone when the going gets tough.
He’s the one constant in a back three that can’t buy a clean sheet.

 

So you come out and pick on Russell when we're already getting smashed 1-4?! What about the defending and tracking for the other goals?
Mael just let their lad waltz through for one without even attempting to make a tackle, Roberts should have done better with the strike from long range.
I'm not Russell's biggest fan but don't pick on him when we're already getting smashed and the rest of the team have been ******* cack.

 

I thought De Gevigney was far more at fault for that goal than Russell. Pathetic defending

 

I love Liam Roberts but the goalkeeping for the 4th and 5th was pathetic as well. I could have kicked the 4th out, he shot from in the Ponty End.

 

Fairly certain he'll have most last ditch saving tackles and blocks for us, little back bone to describe him is completely wrong. Lack of concentration at times no doubt, but no way does he lack any back bone imo mate.
