    Agreed. That atmosphere at that game against Derby was fantastic. That and the result really helped put us on a great run.

    We play Derby at home 3 week today don’t we? Might be an idea for someone to pitch it to the club again…

    The performances at home v against Derby, Plymouth and Wednesday were in part down to the scarf campaign and the atmosphere generated, but mainly the team being able to do more high pressing due to the confidence that the pressing players had in the back line consisting off Williams, Thomas, Anderson , Kitching and Cadden to keep us solid at the back.

    This season, I am hoping that a back line of Williams, de Gevigney, Earl, Pines and Cadden, giving the said confidence to the pressing players, we will have similar performances and results

    Keep it bumped it needs to be promoted to hell, it's a couple of quid for a bar scarf, maybe the club can put them on seats - spent **** all on players

    I'm all for it because last season it really did make a difference.

    But.. Could it be arranged earlier on in the season (maybe at Christmas/Boxing day), when every home game is as important as the next one. ;)

    It's a joint venture between Athersley Reds and me/us at Eyup & Down. I helped promote the one last year so I approached Roy to see if they wanted to team up again to do another one.

    The Athersley Reds logo is bottom left of the image and our logo is bottom right.
