Was expecting goals but instead got that boring game. The red card was embarrassing I thought. 2 yellows in 2 seconds for arguing a decision that the ref got wrong? Where was the yellow for Nunez in the first half clapping sarcastically? I know officials have a hard job but sole decisions are strange at best.
This is normally the most overhyped game of the season and has been since the complete ban on tackling was introduced.
To be fair, they’ve had their fair share over the years. Not sure this one benefitted them that greatly though, just awful officiating.
Had a feeling it would be an anticlimactic after last season! Still I won £20 on the either promotion!
Shocking game where Manure were horrifically poor but will take positives from the fact that Liverpool were also garbage, especially in the final third. Liverpool should have won 2 or 3 nil. Gakpo shoots every time he gets the ball, Nunez is ******** and Salah was miles off the pace today.
