Does he come with Pinnock, Woodrow, Moore, Davies, Mowatt and Jacob Brown or would he have to work with the current squad of players?

I'd love any town/club if they paid me £5k per week. He did like to venture in tbf.
But left under a cloud. I dont know the true version of why. So I'm in neither camp.
But Jay hits the nail on the head..
    And it doesnt always work.
Clarke and Wilson. We were nowhere near the standard we were 1st time round. In fact Clarke. Never managed again after a 6 month stint at lincoln (after he got sack from us 2nd time around) .

I would never have an ex-manager back. I look forward, not back.

I too liked Stendel alot and liked the way he got the team playing. Not got the same enthusiasm for Collins. Sometimes I wonder if he has watched the same game as me. Last night especially first half was awful but did improve after the break. Styles was a spell on the bench if recent performances are anything to go on and the whole squad revert to the pressing game favoured by D. Stendel

I don't think the time is right. This is, however, the most testing time for Collins and time will tell whether he can get the team playing well again, or whether we fall away. Lucky last night. I do wonder if the perceivd need to appoint a Director of Football may be to lift the morale of the players. Collins is very much head coach, but I wonder if the new posts is needed to increase the amount of experience and interpersonal skills in the coaching staff team. Who would you have as Director of Football? Mick McCarthy springs to mind straight away. Warnock? Hmmm. Not sure, but he will need to get on well in a working relationship with Collins and with the whole first team squad.

Loved Stendel. But the squad he had was far too good for this league.

Loved Stendel and was gutted when he left but I think I might have got that team promoted.
Doubt he’d repeat it with the current squad.

    Or Liam Lindsay.

    Or Dimi Cavare.

    Even Cam McGeehan…

I loved Kenny Dougall but I’ll keep Connell.

Other than that, maybe Cadden would play in a combined eleven? Roberts maybe. Not many others.

I want Collins gone, squad issues or not. But I don’t think Daniel Stendel is the answer.

That free-flowing 7-0 win, where every cross was inch perfect, and every shot we had seemed to go in, and every shot they had didn’t, seems a lifetime ago. The more coaching they’ve had since then, the worse the performance and team cohesion.

If we were to sack Collins then I’d be looking at Matt Taylor

I have no name in the frame. I'm baffled about Collins. I think he still thinks he's in Florida, not Barnsley

He got out of jail last night, but for me he's a dead man walking, football wise, unless he looks at the style of play & the fact Styles cannot be arsed. Drop him, say you are getting no move out of here playing in the under 23's. In the meantime McAtee number 10, Jalo & Cosgrove up top. Rest Cole, as we are gonna sell him & he too does not look arsed.

If we got Warnock in, which we won't, that is the brutal message he would deliver.

Instead we show up on a cold night at Oakwell with utter complacency & no entertainment for the fans, other than the ref's decision at the end, which TBH was the right one. A small gust of wind from Cosgrove's arse would have blown the cheating current over.

We'll never sack anyone whilst we are challenging the play off spots, regardless of the football - we're not Real Madrid.

    Pointless threads these.

You say that but the modus operandi isn’t to be promoted is it? It’s to build value of assets.

Yes they want championship football. But not at all costs. Collins is not delivering the football style the owners have requested and we as supporters have been told we are to receive.

Not one player in the squad has increased in value in the time Collins has been here. You’d possibly argue Cole but remember he’s out of contract in six months, and he’s gone off the boil.

They won’t judge Collins solely on points tally and chances of making the playoffs.

No, it's to be promoted, they've stated that this season.
