    How was Mr Joyce?

We had him 3 times last season (albeit at home) and won all 3 games.

Positives - kept his cards in his pocket.
Negatives - slightly fussy. If the corner decision was indeed incorrect, he made a blooper which directly affected the outcome of the match.

Given him a 5 so far, but I'll up it to a 7 if the corner and penalty decisions turn out to be correct after watching the highlights. The pen looked pretty nailed on to me from the stand.

Penalty could be correct I genuinely can’t be sure from the one iFollow camera angle I’ve seen if Williams trips him or if he manufactured the contact
Corner was an absolute howler not even close to one of our players when their striker headed it out. Less serious he also got a throw in just as badly wrong when the defender kicked it and Cole shielded it out
Missed a few clear fouls both ways one on Cotter particularly glaring.

But it’s the error for the corner that cost us 2 points no excuse for such a bad decision

    4 from me

Solid 5. We created our own problems. Could have been 2 pens given away. I'll take a point & give a 5.

Not a chance, they’re thread spoilers, their mark is nothing to do with what they thought of the ref’s performance. Every game there is at least 1 who gives a 10. No mark from me as I haven’t watched the full game and haven’t seen the ‘corner decision’ that led to their second goal.

I've just watched it for the first time. It isn't clear to be fair. A few of our players go over and congratulate McCart as though he's headed it away, but they all look in disbelief when the ref gives the corner. McCart himself looks to the ref, but then walks away to get ready for the corner, suggesting he might have got a touch. I guess we've still got to defend the corner.
