The club in S6 had a smaller wage bill than BFC in the year to 2022. The massive wage bill was a not so massive £12.4m virtually halving from the prior year of £24.3m. The tiny club down the road had a total salary bill of £13.1m admittedly in the league above at the time. Even with the massive salary reductions they lost £7.3m which again was a big reduction from the prior year loss of £25m. Debts of £65m and a commitment of over £70m to lease the ‘stadium’. All is not good in S6, at least they have the on pitch displays to take their minds off the financial turmoil.
Not even the most massive club for away followings. https://x.com/SAFC_Analysis/status/1708500921863283182?s=20
Interesting, particularly when you consider how much of that wage bill went on Bannan - not much left for the others!
