    I've heard they're a right pair of Basford's.

How many guys we have ever loaned out to non league have made it with us? Jacob Brown played for Chesterfield in the 5th tier. It's a very small list and being loaned from us to non league is generally a kiss of death.

Essentially that's what I was getting at. Maybe these will buck that trend, but I fear loaning out to lower levels like this, would they actually ever make it here.

Time will tell, but I'm immediately of the thought they probably won't unfortunately.

How many in general how we loaned out and they've made it with us? Mowatt, Kane? Who already by comparison had tonnes of games under their belts. May as well say if we loan players out its the kiss of death. In actuality, its just part and parcel of being a pro. Many many more wont make it compared to those who will. Doesnt mean we shouldn't keep trying to send them on loan to bulk them up, get game time etc

They are only 18 year old lads. Sounds a good bit of experience for them to me & good Bobby & John Stead came to see how they coped. Not many 18 year olds make first team football, so probably a year or two until they will be looking at getting any start in the team.

They’re not ready for L1 action. They’ve had no senior football whatsoever. It’s a different ballgame.

This 1month loan will give them that - then they might have a look in.

All the players I have listened to in interviews and podcasts all say the same. Also, with current results, it’d be the wrong time as well - too pressurised.

    Exactly.

That’s how it should be down.
