Usually a journo would remove some these, to make it more flowing….

Just listened in to NCs interview. Despite the fact that they all usually come out with the same predictable standard fayre I always ask myself the question of football managers
... would I like to work for him?
My thoughts on NC so far, even tho it's far too early to make sound judgement:
    1. Would you want to go out for a pint with.him? Yes. Decent bloke.
    2. Doesn't seem as hard boiled, hard assed as MLH. MLH seemed much more authoritative. V black and white and direct.. With our new man it seems he's may be not as tough. However I suspect that behind the scenes he is a tough cookie who demands high standards, in contrast to the softer side we have seen in interviews
    3. Has a quiet confidence and belief in his own ability. He says with regular frequency that we will improve when we get the squad fully fit. Doesn't sound like typical ******** as he doesn't seem like a bullshitter.
Other takeaways from his latest interview:
    1. Best line of the whole thing..."Luca is showing signs of improvement".
    2. Also liked his polite put down of the stuff we all see on social media...basically don't believe everything you read.
    3. Has anyone got any spare strepsils or a spitoon for him to clear his throat? :)

Took me a while to realise who MLH was. Went through a load of managers before I realised who it was :)

Collins v Duff. Bare knuckle or gloves? I’d pay to see that.. :)

Collins to win on points. Craftier, more subtle.

Ismael was the same like that, hard ars*ed and maybe difficult to work with for some.
But both he and the long hauler Duff, did get us to the Play offs with that style of coaching/managing.

Would run both Rod Stewart and Jim Diamond very close in the "Scotland's huskiest voice" stakes.

He has a long reach & looks hard as nails to me. His footwork would help too.

As it is he's is the Barnsley manager for now, so yes...
