    Good luck to him. Best move for all parties imho. Badly managed by two of the worst first team coaches we've ever had in the 2021-22 season. All the academy coaches must have been tearing their hair out. They got a talented and focused young lad to the point where he was knocking on the door of the first team and then the jokers in charge selected him in a different position every week before he'd even come close to finding his feet in his preferred position. Ruined him. Hope a fresh start at Burton sees him do well. It seemed to do during his loan spell.

    I have a hunch it might have been Conway behind Moon being messed about in 21-22. Telling coaches he had the stats to be a midfielder and that he needed to play. Perhaps. Or perhaps they were just both clueless.

    Good move all round and continuing at Burton will be good for him. All the best Jasper.

    It wasn’t about the managers been clueless. We were down to the bare bones. Someone had to play out of position & Schopp went with Moon presumably because he’d played a bit there under Val the previous season.

    Good luck to Moon, I think he’ll have a decent football league career. I’d be surprised if he made it up to championship level but hope he proves me wrong.
