Not better if we fail to get promoted again. Not better when we've lost our most experienced defender. Collins probably will move on, Duff made sure of that by prioritising a loan player. If there's no release clause though surely the best thing to do is keep him?

Well it says we’ll only sell once we have a replacement in so I guess the club would be hoping that we’d get money for Brad and then have a replacement good enough to still achieve the aim. As I said before though, any signing is a risk. I guess we’ll see how it pans out.

I couldn’t remember but I’ve googled it and you are correct. He’s kept a clean sheet in every game he’s played for us…

You can’t blame Collins one bit for wanting to go ,I would as well.

All these people slating Ben Killip…..

Errrr, he’s far more experienced than Isted was, and played at a lot higher level too. Isted barely played any professional football prior to us.

Not saying he’s the answer, but folk forget Isted had basically done nothing before to coming to us, and was 3rd choice at Luton - to be replaced by Jack Walton.

I’d like Collins to stay, if he wants to - which might also hinge around when our new manager arrives and talks to them all.

That could also describe Collins, Isted, De Gea, etc.

Would Ismaël want him as a surprise sweeper/keeper?

I don't get that Collins was treated poorly. He was injured and we replaced him with a keeper who in my opinion kept the shirt on merit.I say this as a big Collins fan.

De Gea and Lloris are also prone to howlers. Is that why they are in the Premier League? And what about the shocking mistakes by Courtois and Alisson in the same Champions League game last season?

He may be on the bench, and he may not. It's impossible for any of us to know.

Don’t talk daft. Disgrace is a heavily overused word.

Less prone than a keeper in League One presumably. There’s a reason why players play at the level they do and I think that is usually their consistency.

My take every player in any other position makes mistakes but a keeper does it usually leads to a goal so classed as a howler. Personal opinion is not too keen on Collins far from the worst we've had, for his size he's not great in the air and his shot stop percentage is poor think there is better out there.

I think Searle will be number one next season. We'll take somewhere between 500k to a million with add ons for Collins. Cannot see him wearing a Reds shirt again TBH. Other lad signed as number 2.
