Just when you think you're having a crap week - the Club produce this embarrassing monstrosity. Dear me. As a previous poster says - League one in every sense!

I'm a traditionalist, my favourite shirt was the all red with no white trim version (81 I think) so I'm not sure about this. However, perhaps people will see it as collectible and we might sell more and just maybe we sell some in the US because of the designer, then revenue may be higher - in which case it's worth it.
Re 'Winning is being Barnsley' - traditionally our motto could've been Barnsley FC battling against the odds. I'm thinking this is JAQ's influence to rid ourselves of the underdog attitude and reposition as winners. Again, perhaps not a bad thing.
Head coach and player recruitment in the coming weeks will be key to being able to say "we're being Barnsley" more often than "we're not being Barnsley" this season. Spectamur Agendo.

You've got a point actually. I called out that US mobile logo before as reminiscent of the third reich eagle. But add on top the Star of David, it's going to be a bone of contention for sure.

Wouldn't go as far as Third Reich, but it's f'erkin horrendous. Was it designed by an infant school project?

Well done Barnsley football club and all involved in the design of the kits
Unique designs original shirts...instead of following like sheep and sticking with the plain stuff
66 year old and I love all the kits including both the keepers kits too....Reading some of the comments on here... I guess white is the new grey for some....come on get out and about...splash some colours into your lives....lol

I think my favourite of the 3 is the black shirt I’m unsure about the home may need to see us in it or in the shop

If anything, it’s certainly gaining some attention.

I’ve had 2 people from work, that I don’t often talk about football to, speak to me about the kit.

Thing is, if they'd gone with a more traditional plain red with white trim, many would've still been put off by the sponsor logo. So I think they've done right to try and push the boat out a little bit. I won't be buying one myself, but suspect between that and the black kit, sales will be pretty decent.

It's no surprise that the people who are overly negative about all things BFC, don't appear to like the new kit. I'll be honest, it's not to my particular taste either, but christ, the words embarrassing and abomination are a bit strong.
