More likely it was Duff or his agent.

I feel like I've made a really terrible misogynist comment. I'm sorry if anyone takes it that way. But when it popped into my head it really made me laugh.

It means seeing through bull **** I think

    Edited.

This is convincing. Its something to do with discrimination towards women.

Just asked my partner. She's an administrator

I'm not criticising the board here. I don't know who demanded what or what the alternatives were. My only comment is that the club JAQ is a board member of agreed to that clause so it seems a bit odd to moan about it being used.

Have I imagined it or did she tweet something the other day and then delete it? If so what was it?

Then IMO we should have re evaluated whether he was right for us. He came from Cheltenham for god's sake. Wonder if he's insisted on a release clause to join Swansea and if so will he **** on them in 12 months time. I highly doubt it.

She’s saying the injustices of Wembley are passed off as ‘that’s football’ and something that needs to be challenged hence breaking a glass ceiling and we need to get on with signing a replacement as time is of the essence. Why am I clarifying the obvious

I don’t think so mate. Just a bit of silliness that is required in such situations. It made me laugh too.

He did an immense job for us last season and more than fully justified his appointment. The release clause seems to be an integral part of contracts nowadays. Personally, I’m surprised it was so low ( I acknowledge that this is just the trigger and not necessarily the figure we will receive) If he does a good job at Swansea, I’ve no doubt other clubs will be looking in his direction.

Course he will. Probably the same clause that Russell Martin had in his contract that Southampton have just exploited.

Exactly this. Small club doesn't get a decision at Wembley. "That's football." Manager gets tapped up mid-season. "That's football." As a small club we need to break through that glass ceiling.

I think all this just confirms no one really has a clue what she's trying to say. All I want is for people to speak plainly and mean what they say. I really don't think I'm asking too much.

I think Durkar Red has it spot on. It seems pretty straightforward to me.

Correct. Perhaps someone should quietly advise her of Yorkshire people's fondness for plain speaking. This cryptic nonsense smacks of attention seeking and just serves to annoy people..

Ah right. So she's going to sort out the FA, EFL and PGMOL then? Good luck with that. Tbh I'd rather she concentrated on the Club.

Seems an oddly timed tweet that's about everything other than Michael duff exercising the release clause that our board allowed him to insert

Russell left them for someone else in their own division. No reason Duff won't if he gets a better wage.
