My full price ticket was £80 but being an old fogey got it for £40. No I'd of proof of age was required when purchasing the ticket so fully expected at the gate to show my id eg drivers license. But not a human in sight at the turnstile just swiped and walked in. My question is could lots of us got in for half price?

Had that discussion with my dad as he’s extremely close to 65 now. Yes, we’re sure he could have but it’s not the point is it? It’s probably really easy to steal stuff too but I’m not going to start doing it, even if others do.

I'm not sure about wembley. But at bell end rd . There is a steward positioned inside to challenge anyone they think is trying to pull a fast one. A light comes on to tell em when anything other than an adult ticket is scanned it's a concession. As my nephew once found out on going through the turnstile. Steward asking if he was under 18 and id.
There were definitely stewards at Wembley positioned just inside and outside for that matter. There for any issues getting in.

You'd probably find that too many people who qualify for concessions don't take advantage. "That's for the old folks".

I struggled to persuade the Mrs to get a Senior Railcard. Although in 8 years when I qualify I'll probably be the same...

Don’t they hold your DOB on the club records of membership?

I had the opposite problem. I qualify as a senior, have a senior ST, but after an hour farting about on Ticketmaster last Friday morning I finally managed to secure 4 tickets together and I was in such a flap to secure em I bought 4 adult tickets instead of 3 and 1. And I didn't even realise till we were trundling darn t'M1 on Monday morning. Silly owd bugger.

Steal with the money they make, who's the thief, I bet lots of people couldn't afford to pay for a ticket.

Someone else bought the ticket for me, I was really thinking about the people who couldn't afford the full price.

£30 for a play off final Wembley ticket is pretty decent. Of course, there’ll be plenty of people who didn’t have a spare £30 but that doesn’t mean they can have a half price OAP one if they’re not an OAP.

Your account sign in has your details then there were 3 options on the ticket page so I paid all the right prices and in the right order, obviously forgot to tick the option

"Would you like to contribute to Specsavers for the referee" serves me right for being stingy
