The only thing stopping us from being favourites for the title is some shenanigans from Derby County, to get round their salary cap. We will get rid of Styles and then will have to consider what to do with the players who have 12 months left, but the rest are under contract and are players we will be building the team around. If Andersen leaves, Kitching will be our captain. re Andersen, we need to show him we are going for the title and tell him we want him to lead the charge. At the end of the season, if we don’t go up his reward for his efforts over the past 4 years is a free transfer with our blessing, and may he fill his boots up with a tasty signing on fee. But if all goes to plan and he leads us up, a nice big contract is there for him to sign, with a nice big signing on bonus as a thank you for his efforts in taking us up. It’s a win-win for him.
They might be lining that striker they signed from non-league up to step up. Can’t remember his name, but they brought him on specifically to take a pen in the semi final
Back to the OP we will sell some players its always the case for most EFL clubs outside those with parachute payments We will sign replacements from clubs below us - some will be successes and some wont. We did pretty well last summer with Connell Cadden Phillips Norwood as great additions for the season. We will use the loan market as well I expect we will sell Styles and Mads, if there is a good offer for others we need to seriously consider selling one or 2 more Duff is the key for me - Keep Duff and Luca and I will be very positive next season Lose both those and Mads and I wont be expecting us to be pushing the top 2 In any case of the loanees I can only see Isted being here again next season and then only if we sell Collins so we will have a significantly revamped side. ( Id love us to also sign Thomas but think thats unlikely) Wonder how much we get for Lutons promotion that could play a part too
