    Fairly certain last time any of us spent a Monday afternoon at Wembley we lost? Think Millwall, Cardiff & Oxford were all on Sunday if I'm not mistaken...

    I was in the Willow Park Hotel Pontefract. 13 years old. Sat under window sil in bay window snug. Jumped up when Hignett scored and banged all back of my head. Went downhill from there. My Dad supped enough Murphy's Irish Stoute to get me a Stella Artois T shirt that was three sizes too small. Had to play an under 15's cricket match at Wakefield St Mick's that night.

    Up until last Monday that was the worst day of my life.

    He had a likeable touch of arrogance about him did Daz, one of my favourite reds players. If only that pen had gone in, the 23 years since then might have been very different.. maybe!. ;)

    Barnard didn't start at Chelsea mate. He started his career at non league Wokingham Town as a teenager and did exceptionally well - Chelsea paid around 110k for him when he was 18/19 years old. Quite a lot of money for a teenager back then, especially coming from non league!
