absolutely the right thing to do. however with no further blocks released yesterday, ST holders now have zero advantage today. they've made a right balls of it
Whilst I applaud the change, it's already too late for some. If only during these discussions a holding statement put out saying they were actually I'm discussions.... Then some may have just held off.
To be honest - the club can’t win. It’s not always their fault. The FA, EFL and Wembley are not exactly the sharpest people are they. Let’s be glad we’re off to Wembley, and that anyone who genuinely wants a ticket, will get one. They’re will be no shortages. I remember the days when folk were just happy enough to get a ticket! Certainly that’s what it was like against Ipswich.
tbf its the league not them. If they had put out a statement say there's a chance of it changing, and then it didn't, and people had waited & now couldn't get the seats they wanted there'd be lots of moaning. We're in a better position now than we were, I expect there are a lot of very relieved parents out there who no longer have to do Sophie's choice
Not at all. I had to make a conscious decision. Me and 2 lads. One desperate to go, one not so much. Yes help was available if I wanted it yesterday, but I decided not to take that cos of anything my focus was getting the "desperate to go lad" at least to get sat with his mates. That came off. Just. Now I'm in a position that he goes, me and my other lad, would have seperate travel arrangements and sat completely elsewhere. Had it been said we are on discussion to see if we can alter things, I might have taken that risk... But it's too late to sit the 3 of us together now. I've now another conscious decision to make... And whoever is at fault, club or FA, it's royally screwed over many many fans. That cannot be dismissed
100% this. The club needs to be applauded as they've challenged an EFL rule and managed to make the change. Yes there's the issue with blocks being released, again a Ticketmaster failure, but this is really positive news and should help thousands of supporters and families.
Couldn't someone else take the 'desperate to go' seat with his mates and you buy 3 tickets for you to sit together? Surely someone within that social group might want the spare.
A lot of busses are fully booked, train tickets gone. Some people will have missed out. It's inevitable.
While there's definitely been mistakes made and the initial ruling was ridiculous, there hasn't half been some bedwetting on here in recent days. It's been addressed, get your tickets, chill out, enjoy the day.
Well done BF! Hopefully this will now enable those who couldn't get to go in their chosen groups can now get tickets together. This should help many fans whi have had genuine gripes. For those who still can't get where they want to be there are enough of us on here who can help and who have offered to help. I think its in the DNA of football fans everywhere to moan at the first opportunity. Unfortunately the football fan DNA also consists of an inability to appreciate (in our case) the good work our Club is doing to help our fans. This is really good news. As someone said earlier......we'll all get tickets if we want to go. Let's sell out for gods sake and out support and out sing the arrogant oinks from down the road. COYR!
