Not surprised at all, to see players rested. Right thing to do for me.

Resting players to see what we’ve got to play with next season if we don’t get promoted, okay…..

Right, Luke Thomas has his chance to actually do summat now. Be good to see if Shaw exists too.

I don't think you could have spun that in a more pessimistic way if you tried.

Thought Russell may have started again today - said last week id rather see Shaw on bench rather than Watters, didn't expect both on but would be good to see him on the pitch at some point

Pretty much as expected I’d have said. I would’ve possibly gone with Cotter for Williams but we may see that around 60 minutes anyway.

Hopefully we’ll see Luca against Peterborough though to make sure he has some match sharpness the playoffs.

Good idea to rest Andersen. A bit of indiscipline has crept in recently, so a well earned rest to reset and be raring to go (and not be suspended) for the play-offs is a wise move. Great to see Luke Thomas and Candy getting the minutes, but I’d have rested Norwood too, to ensure his elbows don’t rule him out of the play-offs. This is a game where we could also have started Cotter and Shaw, and maybe even put one or two of the kids on the bench. I get that we want to keep momentum going, but these players have been running hard for weeks, so a rest might do them good.

This is disgusting. He's playing all the none leaguers and bin juice Norwood and is it true that Robbie Cundys great grandmother is German the **** player.

I'm worried about the pace of Cundy, but who else have we got?

Nothing to do with next season, any decision Duff has made will be with a view to the play offs .

I think that's why we're playing him now mate in non-meaningful games, get his fitness up and see him before the playoffs

    Absolutely the right choice.

Rotates the strikers anyway, we might get a look at shaw, Mads needed a rest and Phillips has looked jaded for weeks. Luca has been ill so why rush him back?

If Cadden hadn’t just had a three match rest I reckon he’d have had a seat or day off today too.

If anything I’m surprised Williams starts but he might be concerned about too many changes and repercussions from the league.

We might see a rest for Kitching Kane and Williams next Sunday I reckon.

When we played Wednesday away we started with a midfield 3 I think of Benson Thomas and Kane and they were outstanding that day. Not sure what's Connells injury and I think Russell is way off at the minute. So a good decision for me.

Giving Anderson a rest is a good idea, Game time for Cundy isn't a bad thing as you never know if he will be needed.
It wouldn't have hurt to give Collins and Cotter a game either

We are in a unique position in that we have secured the ‘best’ play off spot and so have nothing to play for, and can’t get caught.

we need to take advantage of that and rest players, would be mad not to.

Don't know why the negativity from some, its a very strong starting lineup and a decent bench.
If Mads had played and broken a leg this board would be in meltdown. The job is done. We are in the playoffs, now we can give a couple of fringe players some game time.
    Logical stuff from Mr Duff
