    Good can’t stand their fans

They must have thrown 8 smoke canisters on pitch today

Happens to the best of us. I lived in Blackpool for seven months while my mum was pregnant and moved out there to be with my Dad.

She had a night of passion with him, dumped him and then found out she was pregnant.

Dad was on a fruit machine engineering course at Blackpool college and had accepted a job on the cruise ships mending casino slot machines.

Mum found him, told him she was pregnant. Dad gave his place to his class mate and didn't want me born in Lancashire. He did the right thing and married her.

They moved to Pontefract and the rest is history.

They were throwing all sorts on pitch ref noted it all down. Last time I went they were throwing smoke cannisters into away end. Decent away day though and we always take good numbers.

I would have liked the Blacky lashers to stay up, but its not to be, and I can't say that I feel too sorry for them tbh.
Its funny hearing them and the Nobbers (Preston) fans argue with each other, but they will have to pick Accrington and Fleetwood and hopefully Bolton as new Lancy rivals next season.
Why did Mick turn his back on them so late on in the season, I'd be well peed off with him if he'd done that to us.

Would have liked them to stay up. It would have been a good away day out when we get promoted.

Cardiff, QPR and Reading relegated would have been ideal.

Rotherham look like they've done just enough this time, maybe because of other teams having points deductions.
Its interesting seeing their comments about Cardiff and their fans, which is something I'm sure we do agree on.

It's personal for me and nothing to do with Rotherham if that makes sense. I've been hammered off brother in law ( Rotherham season ticket holder) and landlord ( Laura's uncle and a Rotherham white) since we traded places.

That's what I thought, but its appalling behaviour from a manager who is paid to do a job. Unless there was some sort of backroom fallout with his boss/bosses, or maybe he jumped before the inevitable push!!.

Rotherham only need one point really with the goal difference. I think there safe. Either Huddersfield or Reading. With Wigan n Blackpool

No it would be good to play them at Championship level as it is long overdue because the pair of us yoyo between leagues too much.

I was born in Blackpool, as my parents had the Roker Hotel on the south shore. They returned to Barnsley in 1967, having sold up. I was 2 & a half at the time, so have little memory of living there, but my Dad's parents had moved over & stayed there till the late 70's, so we visited them a lot. I also know a DJ friend, Tony Green, whose Dad was a celebrated player for both Blackpool & Newcastle, before retiring early due to injury, (same name, Tony Green).

For this reason I'm sad to see them drop. Blackpool isn't the place it was in the 60's & rarely visit now, but a bit sad to see them drop.

As an aside I played a party tonight at Hoyland Common WMC, which was used for the filming of Kes... good night of alternative 80's tunes, 2-tone, punk & indie. Good night. Irene.
