Makes my blood boil to see him get airtime on TV. A lovely person of the highest order. Toss up who has been the biggest liar in the history of MP's. Him or Boris.
A fantasist in his mates words. ( Giles Brandreth) Paul Foot my favourite ever columnist.(Daily mirror) Exposed his lies on many occasions.
Should build a bonfire of his (Archers) books.

He should be on TV, but every time the caption should state "Former Convict and perjurer"

Well you certainly couldn't argue for saving them on literary merit. :)

No contest mate. At least Archer was found out and served prison time for it while Bojo walks free and maybe contemplates a return to Downing Street.

We were on a cruise a few years back. Him and his wife were on, he was doing book signings onboard. Massive queues. We just walked past. One of the poshies in the queue asked us if we were getting a book signed. Think they were surprised by all of our laughs and replies of no chance, and my ex pit electrician father in law’s response of I’d rather get my eyes poked out.

It's all down to personal taste, obviously, but I think some of his books are terrific. The Clifton Chronicles was a superb saga covering several stages in a boy from Bristol's life, from childhood to his death. Brilliantly written as was his Prison Diary trilogy, from the horrors of Belmarsh to open prison and release.

Whether or not you agree with his politics, or his personal views, he is a very good writer.
