Just thinking about the emergency alert thing and how it will give the game away regarding secret phones for those unfortunate people and I realised I have no idea what the secret phone is for.
You can turn the alert off. And i guess a secret phone is to contact people that is outside of your partner's control i.e. in an emergency / for support?
Doesn't really require much imagination @SuperTyke to work that one out! Jealous, controlling partner a second phone could be your only means of conducting any social.life/ contact with friends and family.
In a lot of controlling & abusive relationships, the abuser may not allow their partner to have a phone, or limited access at least. Someone might have a secret one in case they need help.
Was one or two at work who hid a second phone from their partner. For obvious reasons. Laugh mi tits off if it gave game away. Serve em right.
Plenty of tracking apps available if you want to stalk your partner’s social interactions. Used to go out with a girl who would steal my phone and check all my messages/internet history etc.
