    You'd like to think the '4500 pieces of material' were using recycled/recylable material. Can't really knock the Club for trying different things to generate atmosphere.

    Paper, theoretically will re-cycle / compost but is a fire risk. Single use non-flammable fabric on the other hand... bad for the environment.

    Nobody asked but Tifos are up there with half and half scarves as the most tragic symptoms of modern football. All the jokes Wednesday fans make about it being our cup final and we do this.

    I agree with you that they shouldn't be made from non-recyclable/single-use material. I'm hoping they're not. As for the fire risk, I don't get that at all. Who's going to be setting them all on fire? I think the chances of that happening are almost zero.

    AGAIN the club can't win, no atmosphere they are slated trying to create one and they are slated,dammed if they do dammed if they don't!!!
