Correct answer. It's not aimed at me, or most folk on here, of a certain age. It's aimed at the 'youth' innit?
It's not for me, but it's not aimed at me. Understand why they've done it, however I can hear every Barnsley fan over the age of 10, collectively wincing at what this might come up with.
Are you able to get reliable feedback on effectiveness Whitey? I use instagram a lot but the number of comments per post seem disappointingly low. That's not a criticism just an observation. It's a shame really because I like the plat and some good BFC stuff goes on it.
On tiktok they'll be able to see how many views they get, whether the views are by followers or on the "for you page" which is essentially the feed for people who may not even follow them, what age group are viewing the figures, what gender, nationality etc and will show how many likes, reposts, comments etc it gets too. The information for a business account is quite detailed
I'd just like to point out though that tiktok isn't just for kids and that these days, it's used by people of all ages and some who have millions of followers are in their 30s, 40s and 50s. A lot of people seem to think that if you have it you're just going to see a load of teenagers but in reality what you see is largely tailored to what you engage with. I have an account for work and all I see are lorry related videos (which would make you think I'm a lorry driver but I'm not)
The Meta Business Suite is very informative. Which is helpful as it obviously covers Facebook and Instagram, because the Twitter offering is terrible for analytics etc. Good job we've got that platform nailed down. Loads to do, lots of ideas, the goal is growth and reach. More eyes on you, more cash coming in. Simply put. I don't understand TikTok, so it's a good job I'm not touching it.
I think everyone would agree that the Club should do as much as possible to increase outreach to all demographics, so I don't understand why people are so keen to dismiss this
I’m not dismissing it, I’m just hoping it’s young staff members making the content and not middle aged people trying to be down with the kids. I’m probably imagining completely different types of videos than what are going to be made though.
