Another one of these mystery/curse documentaries in the middle of the deserts and mountains.
Last night was fascinating ... they brought out a small rock from a submerged box, broke the rock open hoping it would be packed with gold ore or something like, and found some plugs of a silver metallic substance which melted when on a guy's palm, looking like mercury but wasn't.
They don't know what it is, especially considering it has been hidden in the middle of a mountain several hundred years ago, or so they think.
And then there's the helicopters and drones buzzing them.
Apparently it's not too far from Skinwalker ranch.

It'll be gallium, it has a melting point lower than body temperature. If they claim it's owt else or a "mystery" then it's just ********.

Gallium arsenide is a semiconductor, so used in chips.

Most interesting fact from a documentary this week for me is, the US Abrams tank is covered in explosive tiles which blow up when struck by an amour piercing shell and effectively deflect the missile. Genius.
The long winter nights just fly by in our house!

Most modern tanks can be covered in this reactive armour, it's not just the Abrams.

So if this stuff is gallium why would it be plugged into rock, sealed, hidden in a big box and buried in a mountain?
Maybe some covert black ops by a US dept that doesn't want it to be found by some redneck diggers, who, by the way, seem decent cautious and intelligent and would not want to risk their lives doing something they didn't ought.
