Can anyone help me please .... health problem.

    Over the last couple of weeks I've had flu like symptoms, felt like crap, aching limbs, tired etc, full of snot and phlegm.
    Last couple of days I've now got conjunctivitis in both eyes which is the viral type, probably as a result of the flu thing.
    I've never had this before and don't really know what to do.
    Anybody help?
    How long does this last?

    Speak to a medical professional. (Try and) arrange a phone appointment with a doctor or call NHS Direct on 111 if you need quick, but not urgent (whatever that means), advice.

    I've had conjunctivitis, it's horrible. I ended up with some prescribed eye drops that I had to put under my eyelids 2 or 3 times a day. Phone up and get an appointment asap. In the meantime get to a pharmacy as they may be able to do them over the counter.

    To be fair to Mr Badger, that is my go-to starting point to solving most problems in life (except medical issues!)

    It's just a good job that two of my best mates and my sister in law are all GP's...

    We have had this recently including conjunctivitis, it is just a virus it will clear up on its own. If in doubt speak to GP.
